Synopsis

Rose (Red Riding Hood), Pembrooke, Plato and Patch (the Three Little Pigs), and Paddy (the Frog Prince) should all be living their Happily Ever Afters.  But Rose, who is now a young woman, is helpless to resist the call of the wild and is obsessed with men who are “wolves.” Pembrooke’s fiancé has had it with his obnoxious brothers.  And a greedy self-centered Paddy isn’t long in getting himself turned into a toad and landing right back in the swamps again.  "The End" is just the beginning in this tale of second chances as 6 actors play 41 characters the Brothers Grimm could never have imagined!

Why We Believe In After Happily Ever After

  • It’s funnier than Death of a Salesman, more ridiculous than a one-man band, and as innocent as an office intern! Our classic fairy tale sequels are exactly the kind of light-hearted entertainment audiences adore.

  • In fact, some loved our Off-Broadway developmental production so much, they came back again... and again!

  • Non-traditional casting and a flexible cast size make this show adaptable to any theatre's needs. When 6 actors play all 41 characters, it is truly a tour de force performance, but where greater participation is desired, the cast is easily increased by less doubling and a larger ensemble.

  • The show plays as well in an intimate black box setting as it does in a larger venue and can be performed with as few as two musicians.
